I photographed many times this place. Now the trees have grown and you cannot see anymore the blue bridge!

Roses in the summer garden

Here is a summer view on gardens of Pont-sur-Sambre, the view is taken in the Cité Notre-Dame and you can see alros the big trees which were planted in the sixties as the City was built. There are some rare species of trees there, rare for this country. Just in the first sight you can see a rose bush. Roses are especially beautiful in Juny and July.

Theme Day : the color red.

Just before my neighbours were settle away a month ago (we have new ones !) they put the child's garden toys near the house, and so we can see the red roof of the child's house. You can see the big tree in the back of the city is always staying alive although his branches were cut only on one side.

3.. . Early spring

In early spring the crocusses and the snowbells are coming out of the earth. It is interesting after the cold winter to see enly some frish flowers. The photo was made in Pont-sur-Sambre.

I took this picture near my work place during the lunch pause. You can see behind this pretty garden also the town district of Trieux in Fourmies. Fourmies where I am working just now, and my husband too, is 35 km in the South East of Pont-sur-Sambre.

12. Frozen Time in Pont-sur-Sambre

• Décidément, le printemps qui s'annonçait est reparti bien vite et les frimas ont de nouveau envahi la région, mettant un halo de blanc matinal sur la campagne et les jardins.

• Surely, the spring which announced itself a week ago is quickly gone away and the cold time is anew on the region, and set a shade of white on the countryside and the gardens.

• Es ist sichern der Frühling, der sich vor einer Woche angekündigt hatten is schon wieder weg und das eisige Wetter hat von Neuem einen morgendlichen weiBen Schleier auf das weiBe Land und die Gärten ausgebreitet.
