This strange photo is not made of two photos, it is only one and the original. This stag is a Christmas decoration in the window of a shop, and the house is on the other side of the street reflecting in the shop window. It is a shop of the street St Louis in Fourmies.

The tradesmen compete with imagination to decorate their shop windows for Christmas and the New Year. Here this window in the pedestrian-street in the front of the railway-station of Aulnoye-Aymeries has got this beautiful Teddy Bear giving gifs for Christmas.

The vegetable and fruit shop has took its goods away from the street

It is now too cold and the vegetable and fruit shop in the shopping street in front of the railway station of Aulnoye has taken their vegetables and fruits away. A week ago there were still sold on the street. Since a few days in cause of the freeze you must go into the shop to buy some food.

This pinguin is on a wall of a cleaning shop in Fourmies (in the main shop street, street St Louis).

Something new...

Yesterday I was in Fourmies and I saw new lamps in old style in the two main shopping streets, rue St Louis and rue Cousin Corbier. This is a picture of the rue Cousin Corbier in Fourmies whith the new lamps. There is also a bakkery on the left for those who are hungry.

40. Water for birds and rabbits in Fourmies.

The name of the shop announces, it is a shop for fishes in water. But shall the birds and rabbits also swim ?

Added on August 09 : This shop and the house are now to sell, I hope the new owners will conserve this paintings, because I find they belong to the street landscape of Fourmies.

38. Le four à bois à Fourmies.

To-day it's the first time I send a pic that isn't from Pont-sur-Sambre, but of an other town of the Avesnois. It's the window of a bakker's shop. In the Main Street of Fourmies is 35 km in the South-East of here and all in the South-West of the department "North" (Nord).
