175. The Florentine at night (Aulnoye-Aymeries).

This old and tall lady is called Florentine and lives in Aulnoye-Aymeries. She stays always as the same place and has no legs. In the night it is enlighted, so that we can see her in all the surrounding aera. It is part of the ancient railway station for merchandise trains and this tower had to serve in the good directing of the trains. Now it went to a cultural center. Every year in August there is a big rock festival in Aulnoye-Aymeries and the young people who came from the fare (in train for one euro from all the region) had something like a camping place at its feet. The big festival is called "Les nuits Secrètes"., the secret nights and there are many parts of the towns where you can find for example little rock concerts in for example a garden. There is also a big stage near the railway station and the post where the entrance is free of said better there is no entrance, you come to the square and you see and listen.

However,in normal times it is in the night all desert around it so that it looks very strange and frightening there. Like on the photo where this old lady the Florentine looks at you in the dark.
