21. Towards the ancient electricity factory

• I took this photo from a window of our house. You can look (f you make the photo bigger by clicking on it) in the background at the electricity factory of Pont-sur-Sambre. It did use coal for the fabrication of electricity. Fifteen years ago it had three big towers. It looked like a cathedral of the industry. The three towers where put down and now they are making a gas eletricity production factory by the private firm Poweo (electricity made by gas). I fear it could be an explosion with it like with the gazoduc of Belgium for two years. It the first time in France an electicity fabric is made by a private firm and not the national electricity company EDF. I would like better they build wind wheels instead of it. In our region, we have much wind. Then you can see the horse house of a neighbor (build in steal), and my two sapins a green and a blue one. If you make the foto bigger you shall see the blue branches of the sapin on the left.

In der Ferne steht das ehemalige Elektrizitätswerk von Pont-sur-Sambre Es funktionierte mit Kohle (Kohlenkraftwerk). Vor fünfzehn Jahren waren drei groBe Kühltürme. Es sah wie eine Kathedrale der Industrie aus. Die drei Türme wurden abgerissen und nun machen sie ein Gaskraftwerk. Es wird von einer Privatfirma (Poweo) gebaut. Es ist das erste Mal, dass in Frankreich ein Elektrizitätswerk von einer Privatfirma gebaut wird. Und nicht vom nationalen Elektrizitätswerk EDF. Ich fürchte, dass mit der Zeit es zu einer Explosion führen könnte, wie vor zwei Jahren in Belgien mit einem groBen Gasrohr. Ich hätte es lieber gehabt, dass Windräder gebaut werden. In dieser Region haben wir viel Wind. Auf dem Foto können sie auch den aus Blech gebauten Pferdestall eines Nachbarn sehen. Und meine beiden Tannenbäume. Der linke hat blaue Äste. Das kann man besser sehen beim Klicken auf dem Foto, um es zu vergröBern.
• J'ai pris cette photo d'une de nos fenêtres. En agrandissant la photo (cliquez dessus), vous pourrez voir l'ancienne centrale EDF au charbon de Pont-sur-Sambre. Il y a quinze ans elle avait encore ses trois tours de refroidissement et elle ressemblait à une cathédrale de l'industrie. On a démoli les trois tours et on veut construire maintenant une centrale au gaz d'une firme privée . C'est la première fois en France qu'une usine de production d'éléctricité est construite par une firme privée. Je crains une explosion comme il s'en est produit une en Belgique sur un gazoduc il y a deux ans. J'aurais préféré que l'on construise des éoliennes, car dans notre région il y a beaucoup de vent. Vous pouvez voir sur cette photo l'écurie d'un voisin construite en tôle ondulée et nos deux sapins. Si vous agrandissez la photo en cliquant dessus, vous verrez que le sapin de gauche a des branches bleues. C'est un sapin bleu.
